United Methodist Church of 1100 in weekly attendance seeks Worship Pastor/Director.  The church is located in a highly populated “lake” community and has experienced significant growth over the last 10 years.  We seek a candidate that places a high value on cross generational ministry, relationships and flexibility.

Location: North Carolina (Just North of Charlotte)

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience

Average Weekly Attendance: 1100+

JOB REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS / GIFTINGS:

• Minimum of 5 years, full time experience, leading worship in a church of at least 500 in weekly attendance
• A solid understanding of technical infrastructure and the ability to communicate with audio and video technicians
• Committed to creating team ministry and developing chemistry and collegiality with other pastors and staff
• A mastery of music

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS / GIFTINGS:

• 10+ years of experience serving in a church of 750 in weekly attendance
• The ability to lead from guitar and keyboard
• Seminary Degree
