Children’s Pastor
Over the past few years, this church has grown from 500 in weekly attendance to more than 4500 and now seeks a Progressive/Contemporary/High Energy Children’s Pastor that never settles for mediocrity! No maintenance mode here! Are you focused on Families and Children? Are you willing to do whatever it takes to reach them? With this position comes a great responsibility to pray, work with others, and continually design and redesign a children’s program that will create Christ-followers. To succeed in this role you’ll need to be a self-led individual, with a strong passion for personal growth. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree and over five years’ experience in a Children’s ministry of over 500 children. Creativity and innovation is a must for this position in an environment that is fast paced and full of passion; this role requires someone who believes God for great things and is not easily intimidated.

Required Experience/Skills
• Minimum of 5 years experience working in a church of at least 3000 in weekly attendance
• Minimum of 5 years experience working with a children’s ministry of at least 500 in weekly attendance
• Minimum of 5 years experience recruiting, developing and mentoring ministry leaders
• Experience managing paid staff members
• Demonstrated growth within current children’s ministry
• The ability to develop and or implement high energy, contemporary curriculum
• Ongoing participation in contemporary children’s ministry education
• Bachelors Degree
Preferred Experience/Skills
• 7+ years experience working on staff in a church of at least 4000 in weekly attendance
• 7+ years experience working in a children’s ministry with 650 children across multiple campuses
• Bachelors Degree / Seminary Degree
